Figuratively though, I don't own any ships. Isaac and I finally got some reimbursements last night that we've been waiting on for oh, like 5 months. It was weird that we got them all at the same time but we also don't check our mail that often...
So last night Isaac and I went and saw Wall-E. It was cute and scary. Scary in the sense that I can see humanity getting to the point portrayed in the movie. It's made me focus on all the resources I use, and how I can use less. I know I am good about it but I need to be better. It's a never ending battle.
The heat is biting me in the butt. I know, I know, I wanted it for so long but now I am so tired because it's so hot at night and I'm just sort of fake sleeping. I wish for A/C only a few days a year and these are it. The upside is swimming and I've been doing that as much as I can.

If wishes were fishes...
I'd have a goldfish or two...
Summer has finally arrived. Thank god. I guess I just had to be patient and wait for the actual start of summer. But I'm not always the best with patience. I do have to say that I will be very happily swimming this weekend. Starting Thursday it will be in the 80's which is how I like it. Hopefully I will finally get tan instead of pasty white. But that's the color I am year round so I might not recognize myself if it happens. And I will get to wear my swimsuits that I didn't get to wear all last summer since it never got warm enough. I've tried them on enough though. :)
I hope everyone is having a good summer!

Icky
So I haven't written lately because I've been sick. First I thought I had allergies but now I realize that I not only have allergies but also a cold. It's really fun when my nose burns because I have to sneeze and I'm lightheaded from the medicine, at the very least it's an interesting sensation.
I am finally back to lazy weekends, which I don't necessarily like. It's and odd dicotomy that I have where I have the need to be around people but I also like to be by myself, plenty. It puts me into this pattern of too much and not enough, I'm still trying to figure it out. It's weird how you can be an adult but still feel unsure. It puts my childhood view of adults in total perspective. Why did I always seem to think that they knew it all, when I'm still just learning. I feel like I'm missing out on something big but I just have to remind myself that my life is what I make it. I can make myself feel like I am missing out on something that I need or I can be in that exact moment of my life and really realize what I am living. I go into a bit of both, I guess it just depends on my mood. Life comes in waves, and you just need to really live the biggest moments. It gives you something to lift your spirits in your lower moments.
I'm going to finish dishes now (which Isaac said he would do) and then curl up on the couch and wait for my cold to go away.

things I forgot

I think I have a problem...
First off I would like to apologize to Brycie for making fun of his Havaiana sandals because I am now pretty infatuated with them. I have to say they have too many cute pairs for girls and I have a weakness for shoes. This makes a very poor combination. They also sucker punched me because they went ahead and made a honeycomb/bee one, this I think is totally unfair. It's like pink for five year old girls, or meth, I think they're one and the same. Just kidding. It's so bad I even bought a pair made for guys. Here are the different kinds.

Last night I went on a swarm call with Isaac because we really haven't had the ability to spend time together this weekend. I spent all Saturday with Mel and met the adorable six week old Keller. We had a lot of fun and Keller was a real trooper, even if he is a pirate. ;) And then Isaac had to work Sunday all day, so we really only had last night together. My only issue was dealing with the bees in an enclosed car when Isaac thought that he had gotten them off and they seemed to keep multiplying. I was stung by a wasp once and I would prefer to not relive that experience if I don't have to. It was nice to spend such a sunny warm evening with my husband, even if I was a little freaked out by loose bees.

Organization
So apparently it is now snowing in Washington... I am trying to have a positive outlook because I have been crabby about it lately and there is nothing I can do to change it. Also my house is clean and I saw Kungfu Panda, both which helped improved my mood, and I slept so that probably helped more than the afore mentioned. I'll just keep buying cute summer clothes and not have the ability to wear them.
I'm trying to implement a new organization system for my junk mail, no not the current one where it ends up piled on the floor in the back room, or the other one where it takes over the whole entire dining room table. I need to go to Office Depot or anyone of those stores to get the rest and (fingers crossed) hopefully it will work. Isaac and I went to Ikea this weekend and bought a side table. On which we are going to have stacking baskets for what mail we keep and their priority. Next to the table we are going to have a shredder so we can get rid of all junk the moment it hits the house. Hopefully the convenience will help this work. Here's a picture of the new table.
