UPS Rummage Sale
So this weekend I will be at the University of Puget Sound. Every year they have an annual spring rummage sale (I think they have a fall one too but I'm not sure) which is a lot of fun. I think it would be more fun if I could just go look around and leave. Sadly I am helping Isaac sell honey. But I think I'm at least going to get a pedicure out of the deal so there's a bright spot. I'm also going to knit. Jili I really want to start those fingerless gloves at the least. I'm still on my third swatch because I've had to try three different size needles. I'm excited to knit something besides a scarf, finally! So if you're bored you like junk and are in the area go to UPS and check out the rummage sale!

What I'm good at.
I know what I'm good at. I have this crazy sense of intuition that helps me (most times) see inside of people. I can dissect and create meaning and purpose, maybe that's why I like English so much. I don't know how I am able to do it. I just get this feeling that I'm on the right path and I follow it. A lot of times I don't even fully realize the meaning of what I have said or done or helped create until later. Sometimes it astounds me but mostly it humbles me. I don't know why I've been chosen to be this kind of conduit but I am grateful. It never makes me scared because it only comes to me when I have the ability to do good. I feel more hopeful today. I know it still sucks but every cloud has a sliver lining. I can see a light at the end of the tunnel. The pain always has a purpose, always. At least we have each other. I am so grateful for that. We are all smart and mature people with moments of immaturity. I love you, each of you.
P.S. Bryce you and me tete a tete. Please. I'll be on Skype tonight.

Comfort
Today is very hard. The distance between me and my siblings is bearable when things are good. But today things are hard and I really need to be close to them to be able to touch them. The phone is so inadequate and words just make it harder. Hanging up just feels wrong. I am trying to keep it together and I am doing okay. I also saw a really terrible accident this morning. I saw a man get in his car peel out of the Starbuck's parking lot. I then went in and got my coffee and headed off to work. I then passed the accident that this man had gotten into, as the third fire truck was pulling up as I passed by. I feel like the world is falling apart. It doesn't help that I saw "The Watchmen" yesterday. It is awesome but all I need right now is comfort.

Greenthumb
So I was given a Christmas/Easter Cactus a couple of years ago. As long as I've had it it never bloomed until recently. So I guess mine is technically a President's Day Cactus. It threatened to a couple of time but this time it actually did it. Attached are pictures of what it looks like. I have to keep it in my office because if it was at home Finn would kill it.

Knees
So apparently my knees have been screwed up for a while. I know that I mentioned the bruising on the front of my knees the last time I talked about my knees. I have, however, screwed up the deep muscle tissue around my knees and it's going to take around 4-6 months until I am at least semi-normal (I can hear you all laughing and asking if I was ever normal) and for most of the pain to go away. Before when I sat on the couch it was by choice now it's necessity. I can walk farther this week than last week (I'm pretty sure this is going to continue to increase) but I still get pain and some days are better than others. I just can't get cocky on my good days and think I'm already back to normal. I went to the gym yesterday (yay!) but wasn't really able to do much else all day. It feels pretty lame so I just need to keep the big picture in mind. I found a really great website for a discount on running shoes. The website is called Running Warehouse and they also give really good tips on how to choose shoes. It was a really good learning experience for me. I always just bought shoes that were cute but now I know they build them certain ways for a reason. You can send them a video of your running (they tell you how to make the video) and they will be able to tell you what shoes are best for you if you don't know. I think that's pretty cool.

Bag Tagging
Thank you Melly for asking me to do this even though I am sans bebe. In disc golf bag tagging has an entirely different meaning. When you bag tag you are challenging someone to pay golf with you and see who wins. Both of you will have a tag on your bag and if the person with the lower number wins you swap otherwise it stays the same. Anywho, here we go.
The usual suspects. I love my wallet and not just because it's Coach. It fully zips around and can fit my checkbook inside, that's all I need. It can also double as a clutch for when I travel which is perfect. My sunglasses and cell phone. Lip gloss and chapstick I also carry pens with me that way I'm never stuck without them. Starbuck's cards, AAA, and calling card just incase my cell phone on the off chance doesn't work. Hey I like to be prepared which is also why I also carry Advil and Tylenol, nail clippers, dental floss and lotion. The mitten was from a gift card one year for Christmas I just think it's cute. I also carry moleskin which is great if I get blisters on my feet. Oh and last of all keys. One for personal use and one for office use I like to keep them separate. I hope you enjoyed looking in my bag. :)
